Basic Search
The Basic Search Screen lets you create a search with limiters, expanders, and Boolean operators.
To create a Basic Search:
Click on Basic Search button. Enter your search terms in the Find field and select any limiters or expanders that you want to
apply to your terms. You can use Boolean operators within your search. To remove search terms, click the Clear button.
To reset limiters/expanders to their defaults, click the Reset button.
In the Search Field we put Marilyn Monroe. Under Limit Your Results check the Full Text box (in this example we want only the documents that are available in full text) and Primary Source Documents box.
Click Search . Your search results are displayed. To print, e-mail or save several search results, you should add them
to the folder.

We get one entry with the name Marilyn Monroe, avalable in full text in HTML format (web page).

It's a poem written by Marilyn Monroe (priamry source). You can print it out, save it, or e-mail it.
If you click the EBSCO host logo , you are returned to the default Search Screen with all your search terms cleared .
If you click the Refine Search tab , you are returned to the Basic Search Screen with your search terms, source-type selections
and limiters remembered .
If you click the Advanced Search tab , you are taken to the Advanced Search Screen with your search terms, document types, limiters, and expander settings cleared .
